Get out in nature
In the middle of Kiveriö’s quiet residential area is a lovely mixed forest and rocky outdoor area. Under the tall trees of the outdoor area, it is easy to breathe and admire the pleasantly small but beautiful Palolampi. By the way, you can spot fish in the pond! Surrounded by forest, the Sikosuo play area is a favourite playground for families with children in Kiveriö.
Good jogging terrain nearby
For hikers, there are also nice places to visit in the surrounding areas. For example, near the Kivimaa sports field there is a small one-kilometre-long track and a charming little forest where you might see sheep grazing in the summer in a fenced area. In winter you can go skiing on the track.
It’s easy to get involved
The Energy Hall in Ilmarisentie, Metsäpelto, is a great place for men and women to play sports such as floorball, bowls and mölkky. On the Gamezone side, you can play darts, table curling, pinball, ping-pong, billiards and more. The new Lahti Padel Arena is also close to the Energy Hall. Kivimaa Swimming Pool, a favourite spot for water sports enthusiasts, is located about one kilometer from Kiveriö.
