The family-friendly beach is a great place to enjoy the sun and the sparkling clear water of Lake Joutjärvi with young children. Pack your sausages too, as there’s a nice barbecue area on the beach!
A wide range of leisure activities
For the more active, Möysää offers plenty of options. The beach volleyball court is a great place to play a game or two. For canoeists and men, there is the Vellamo Canoeing Stadium of the Canoeing Association of Water Canoeists and a kilometre-long canoeing track. The club also offers guided kayaking for children and young people. In winter, there is an open-air swimming area and a sledding hill on Möysä beach. Möysä also has a fitness studio, Fiilis, which offers both gym and group exercise facilities. Möysä Youth Association teaches dance to children, young people and adults – from beginners to competitive groups.
