Terminating the lease agreement

Thinking about moving out of your home? On this page you will find instructions on how to give notice on your home and access the notice form.

Please remember to give notice on your lease as soon as you know you’re moving to a new apartment. The notice period begins on the last day of the calendar month in which the notice is given. The notice period is one full calendar month. You can give notice by filling out the online notice form or by scheduling an appointment at our office.

After you give notice, we will email you move-out instructions. Please read them carefully. We will conduct an apartment inspection within a few days after the notice of termination, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The exact time of the apartment inspection will be specified in the move-out instructions.

Use the buttons below to select whether you want to terminate the entire apartment or just your portion of it. If you are terminating the entire apartment, you can do so by logging in to our resident portal and submitting the termination notice there. If you are unable to send us the notice form, please send your notice by email to asiakaspalvelu@lahdentalot.fi. Please include the address of the apartment you wish to vacate, your name, telephone number, the expiry date of the lease and your future address.

Your living comfort is our top priority. Unfortunately, sometimes living next door can be a nuisance. If your intention to leave is related to disturbance, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible to ensure that neighbourly peace is maintained.
