Affordable Accomodation for International Students
Lahden Talot is a first choice for accomodation for international students. Our shared apartments are spacious and affordable, usually for two to three persons with a private room and a communal kitchen and bathroom. In addition there is also a communal living room in some apartments. We have shared apartments which are lightly furnished and we offer also unfurnished apartments. If shared apartment is not an option for your needs, we also have unfurnished studios, one-bedroom apartments and family apartments. In addition, there is sauna and free laundry room in the building. Apartments are located near campus or close to excellent transportation links and services.
Prices for furnished rooms vary from 370 € to 450 € per month
Apartments are equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, stove light, desk, bed, mattress. There are no blankets, pillows, sheets, or a microwave oven. Prices includes electricity, 25 M Wi-Fi connection and water
For Exchange Students Rental periods are set for a fixed period
1 Aug – 31 Dec for the autumn semester
1 Jan – 31 May for the spring semester

Rooms without furnishing approximately 350 € per month
Studios approximately 500 € per month
One-bedroom apartments approximately 600 € per month
Family apartments approximately 750 € per month

Lahden Talot is a reliable and safe rental corporation owned by the City of Lahti. It is also the largest rental company in Lahti region with over 7000 apartments.
Keys
Keys can be collected from the locksmith on the first day of the agreement term. You must confirm your identity when picking up the keys. If a person other than you picks up the keys, that person must present a proxy form.

If you are an exchange student, you will get your keys from your student tutor upon your arrival. The keys can be collected on the first day of the agreement term. Please inform your student tutor about your arrival time well in advance. There is no reception at the student residences.
Rent Payment
Due date for the rent payment is always 5th day of the month. We send you the invoice together with the rental agreement by email. Rent should be paid monthly. You don’t have to send information of the payment to our rent monitoring, if you have paid the rent on time with correct payment details.. When paying the rent, please use your own reference number which can be found from your rental invoice. Invoice was sent to you together with the rental agreement by email. You can use any of the three bank accounts mentioned in the invoice. You can also pay multiple rents at once if you wish.
