Green nature
The ridges of the Salpausselkä are the core landscape of Nastola – in fact, the whole church village is built on the ridge! In addition to the ridges, the natural landscape of Nastola’s church village is coloured by the lovely lakes Iso-Kukkanen and Pikku-Kukkanen. In the Hevosniemi swimming beach in Kirkonkylä, you can take a refreshing swim while hiking in the forest.
At the end of easy access
Nastola is also an easy place to go on longer excursions – it’s easy to follow the tracks to Lahti or Kouvola, as it only takes ten minutes to get from Nastola to the centre of Lahti. It is also easy to get around Nastola by car along the Valtatie 12, which passes by.
Activities in Pajulahti
One of Nastola’s best-known landmarks is the Pajulahti sports centre, where you can enjoy sports and holidays with the whole family. In the Pajulahti adventure park, on the fatbike trails or on the sup-boats, both big and small sports enthusiasts are happy to have fun. Art lovers will be delighted by the Taarasti Art Centre in Nastola, where changing exhibitions offer cultural experiences in many different forms.
